The Thrashers have just scored and the Rangers are up 1-0 on the Flyers so this hasn’t started well. It’s been a roller coaster of a season hasn’t it?
The Panthers have come out too aggressive and did a good job killing off the 5 on 3 to begin with but couldn’t stop the Atlanta power play after another penalty by Olesz. They are on the PP now so hopefully they will get the win back.
And now the Rangers have scored again and are up 2-0. The Panthers have no one to blame but themselves. They have blown a number of 3rd period leads in the last month or so.
Okay with the Indians losing their first 3 games while giving up 82 runs and the Panthers down I’m going to come back later when I can be a bit more positive. This will be an interesting offseason no matter how the Panthers finish. Everyone knows Bouwmeester is gone so we will see what happens.
